A credit union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members.
5. What makes credit unions different?
Credit Unions offer many of the same products and services that other types of financial institutions do. However, most types of financial institutions answer to stockholders who are seeking a profit, a profit that accountholders pay in the form of fees and charges. Because a credit union has no stockholders, value is returned to its members in the form of lower rates on loans, higher dividends on savings and invested into additional products to meet the changing needs of its membership.
Over time, credit unions have helped their members through economic depression, recession, and inflation. Today, there are over 72 million credit union members in the U.S. and approximately 108 million members worldwide.

14. What if I forget my password?
To prevent intruders, you are only allowed to improperly enter your password a few times before your e*teller account is locked. For security reasons, your account will not reset after a certain amount of time. You will need to call, or come into our main office and provide us with required information for us to reset your password.
15. My password doesn't work anymore, what happened?
The most common problem is that you may have your CAPS LOCK key on, which will make the password you entered incorrect even though you enter the correct keys. e*teller passwords are case sensitive and a password of sioux21 is not the same as SIOUX21 or SioUX21. You may have entered too many incorrect passwords and need to have your account reset. Please contact the Credit Union for information on resetting your account. Another possibility is you may have bookmarked the Account Login Page rather than the actual homepage. For security reasons, you will never be able to Login if you have bookmarked the Login page.
16. If I forget to exit, will I be logged off e*teller automatically?
Yes, after 10 minutes.

The information available to you through e*teller is the exact information stored in our computer system at the time you Login. Any transactions you initiate through e*teller will be posted immediately on the Credit Union's computer system.
18. I tried, but I can't access e*teller. Why?
The system may be unavailable for routine maintenance. Our entire computer system goes through a verify update at 10:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and also on the last day of the month. This process is usually completed by 10:30 p.m. If you can't access e*teller after repeated attempts at different times of the day, report the problem to the Credit Union. The Credit Union does NOT provide Internet (ISP) or software (browser) support.
